The biggest thing to remember about Hungry is that kids definitely do best on a consistent schedule when it comes to eating.

If you are in the middle of something when it is time to eat, and they don’t get food, you could both find yourself upset and scrambling like mad to BEAT Hungry!

Remember, Hungry and Junk-Food love to work together! If you are running late on the healthy food, DO NOT cheat and throw any junk food their way. Or you will both be contending with another set of The Crabbies! Also, if you happen to have a picky eater on your hands, see the tips in the Junk-Food discussion on getting kids to try new foods. Finally, be firm on the no dessert or treats drill if they don’t eat enough of the healthy foods first.
