Junk-Food has been hanging around Team CrabbieMasters headquarters, and he’s been tempting us with all sorts of junk. Cookies and doughnuts and candy and ice cream… he wants us to eat it all in one day!
Fortunately, we know better. We know if we eat all that food… this guy will show up.
To keep Achy away, we chased Junk-Food away. Eating lots of sweets and goodies can be tempting, but CrabbieMasters know how to say NO!
We know you know how to say NO too!
Easter is coming and that means CANDY! Yes, candy. Candy, candy, candy.
Don’t do what Jay and Kay did. When the Easter Bunny came last year, he left them each a big chocolate egg. Instead of listening to their mom and dad, they ate the whole thing in one day! That’s right! Mom and Dad said eat a little bit today, and save some for tomorrow and the next day.
Of course, once Achy arrived, he called in… you guessed it! Too-Tired, the worst Crabbie in the whole wide world and the universe too.
Jay and Kay were sick and that made them tired. Achy and Too-Tired were so happy. They love Easter, so be on the lookout for them so they don’t ruin your day.
On holidays, if Hungry or Achy or Too-Tired or Get-Along or Junk-Food or King or Can’t-Do or Hurry-Up show up, it’s not unusual for the entire Crabbie crew to be sneaking around.
No way will Jay and Kay let that happen again. This Easter, they will listen to the adults and won’t eat all their candy in one day!
Just remember–You can be a CrabbieMaster and beat the Crabbies too!
Oh man! My Achy powers are really suffering now – it’s springtime! So many kids getting outside to play in the warm almost-April air, the sunshine and even in the rain. All that fun, all that energy, all that exercise!
Exercise is healthy! Yuck!
I’m an Achy Crabbie! I like couch potatoes and TV, lots and lots of just laying around. Not exercise! Exercise gets in the way of my powers to wear kids down with germs and everything else that can run down their bodies and make them feel just sick and tired and not wanting to do anything.
That’s what I like; kids laying around not doing much of anything. And then, wham! They come down with a cold or the flu, coughing and sneezing and not feeling like having any fun running or jumping or catching or throwing or kicking balls or shooting baskets or anything.
That’s my gig. Just feeling achy all over. And I love it when anyone joins me!
Warm weather, sunshine, rain to turn the grass green and make the flowers grow?
Kids outside playing in the sun with healthy bodies on the go?
I say shucks. Shuckety shucks no!
We were saddened to learn that Achy isn’t feeling well. King told us that he has the flu. The Crabbie who likes to make us sick is sick himself.
Wherever you live, there’s a good chance that the “flu bug” as it’s sometimes called, is going around. That means aches and pains, coughing and sneezing, and feeling blah.
The flu bug got a grip on Achy. He’s getting a taste of his own medicine, so to speak.
Those of us at Team CrabbieMasters wish Achy a speedy recovery and if you have the flu too, we hope you’ll be up and around soon. Being sick is no fun.
There is good news! One more month until it’s officially spring. That’s right! Spring begins March 20th. We are excited to welcome the warmer weather and longer daylight!
It won’t be long and the birds will be back to greet us in the morning with singing. So… if you’re feeling under the weather, think spring and sunny days!
The weekend is here and it’s Junk-Food’s favorite time of the week. Why? Because that’s when kids (and even adults) have a tendency to indulge and sometimes over-indulge in sweets and unhealthy foods.
Junk-Food gears up for this every Friday morning. He fills himself with a sugar overload and gets ready to sneak into the day of an unsuspecting family.
“Get ready, Achy! There’s going to be lots of kiddie’s taking a trip to the candy store. There’s going to be lots of adults eating doughnuts, ice cream, candy, and MORE candy. I can’t wait.”
“I’m ready,” said Achy. “I am ready to give stomach aches to those over-indulgers. The CrabbieMasters won’t be able to stop us. We are weekend warriors!”
“Oh, please!” said Kay. We are CrabbieMasters. We know what to do and we get right to it. We know eating too much junk food isn’t good. We know too much sugar will give us energy that won’t last. We want energy that will last the whole day.”
“You are too funny, Kay,” laughed Junk-Food. “I know you are going to a birthday party this weekend. I know you will eat too much candy and cake.”
“Silly crab. I know when I’ve had enough. I won’t overindulge,” Kay said.
“Looks like I won’t have anything to do this weekend,” Achy pouted. “I may as well go to the beach.”
“Don’t go far Achy,” Junk-Food said. “Maybe it won’t be Kay, but I will find someone who will eat too many sweets!”
“Oh, Junk-Food, just go away. Go find something else to do. The CrabbieMasters won’t let you ruin the day… or the weekend. So, goodbye!”
We here at Team CrabbieMasters hope you have a happy, safe weekend!
